5. 'Failing' as a woman, holiness as the fruit of healing, and tūrangawaewae for women with Ingrid Goodwin-Barratt

Tūrangawaewae is the Māori word for 'a place to stand, right to belong'. In this episode, we hear from passionate writer and advocate Ingrid Goodwin-Barratt - editor of The Salvation Army's War Cry magazine - about her struggle in casting off the shackles of expectation and gender roles, in order to discover who she really is. Ingrid's experience of finding a place to stand and a voice within The Salvation Army is inspirational, and she urges all women to feel anointed to do the same. Ingrid speaks about the ways God has led her to discover his word and teaching for herself, and how glory will be given to God as we become 'fully alive'.
