45: Are you a CEO or a Project Manager? And what that means for your success in business
The leap from a normal 9-5 day job and knowing what's expected of you, to becoming a business owner, the world of entrepreneurship and doing it on your own…is a massive leap. It’s a minefield for your thoughts, your energy and most of all, it's a minefield for how you see yourself.
In this episode, I want to talk about developing a powerful self-concept as a CEO of your business and career and how this can lead to greater effectiveness and success as a business owner. This is such an important topic. I can't wait to get into it with you, because… I truly believe that a big part of what ends up sabotaging people early on in their business development. Even seasoned entrepreneurs have to work through this lack of identity as a CEO and struggle to see themselves truly as being “the one”. Building this CEO self-concept can make all the difference.
So there's one question you've got to ask yourself: “Are you acting, thinking, and embodying being a CEO in your business and career? Or are you just being a project manager?”
