DKBmedDr. Clifton Bingham from the Johns Hopkins Arthritis Center begins with a review of current best practices, including the issues related to diagnosis. Dr. George Lawry will follow with an overview of the risks and benefits of biologic therapy for patients with RA before Dr. Bingham presents on emerging DMARDs.The second half of the nearly 2 hour presentation covers the subject of comorbidities, presented by Dr. Lawry, on how to recognize comorbidities and how to best manage them. Dr. Bingham will follow up with the presentation of two cases to offer a clinical perspective to recognizing and treating comorbidities.
