Jo is an experienced consultant who has led a variety of projects and assignments. She is regularly asked to facilitate strategy sessions with leadership teams, coach emerging leaders and lead substantial policy, strategy and gender projects. Passionate about increasing diversity and inclusion; developing great boards; increasing the impact and profile of the NGO Sector; and exploring the future of work and AI. Former Chief Executive of the Ministry for Women and formerly the Deputy Children's Commissioner. 2016 finalist in the NZ Women of Influence Awards. Winner of the 2021 Women in Governance Community Award. Author of Take Your Space and Don't Worry About the Robots.
