Neil Vatcher has spent his entire life involved in speedway, as a mechanic, team manager, and now overseeing the development of the next generation of stars.
Some of the names who have come through the GB Youth system include Robert Lambert, Tom Brennan, Dan Bewley, Jordan Palin and Adam Ellis to name just a few, all overseen by Neil.
We’ll find out some of the levels of dedication required to make it to the top, the importance of family in the sport, plus take a look at Neil’s other roles. He’s not just the man in charge of the stars of tomorrow. He’s also the boss of the referees, and in charge of the rule book..!
